Progetto Erasmus+ “EUROMULTICO” mobilità Belgio, 5-19 Novembre 2019

Day 1 - Start...


Day 1: today we left for Philippeville by train from Castiglione del Lago station at 5.10am. We arrived at Bologna airport around 9 and at 10:30 we boarded for Philippeville. We landed at 12 where a bus was waiting for us that took us to our apartments. At 2pm we had lunch and in the afternoon we rested because we were tired from the journey. At 6pm some of us along with the accompanying teachers went shopping for the apartments. At 8 pm we had dinner and after dinner we all went to bed. This is us on the bus, from the airport to our final destination...Philippeville!


Day 2:


Day 2 Adolphe Sax the inventor of saxophone and the precursor of a tradition linked to music and saxophone. With the history of the city and music millions of people every year come to visit Dinant.



Day 2: we partecipated to a particular music lesson, using musical instruments made of recycled things.The final result was beautiful!!



Day 2: we went on a tour of the city, and we saw a lot of traditional landmarks and shops, specially sweets shops! The most traditional food are these biscuits, “la coque de Dinant”, Belgian people usually eat them with a hot cup of coffee..






Day 2: we went on the highest point of the city called la citadelle, and we saw Dinant in all its greatness!









Day 2. here we are in the cittadelle, a castle above Dinant, in this photo you can see half the city expanded to the coasts of the river, the boats parked and in the foreground, even if you don't see much, the main monastery of the town, you can also see the  bridge that connects the two parts of the city.








Here we are on our way to “la marveilleuse” de dinant, the caves!









Day 2: Dinant, a beautiful Belgian town that my Erasmus friends and I visited today. We were surprised by the beauty of the city lying by the river Meuse, the stunning cave, and the architecture of the city. vote 8😜









Day 3 ...


DAY 3 - today, after breakfast, we took the bus to go to school... as soon as we arrived, Luc welcomed us and divided us into groups of two or three students. The first class we were in Year 4 to do physics with the students and the Belgian profs. Then, we went to Year 6 to do religion and at the end of the hour we had break time. The last class was history. We all had lunch together with the students of the school. finally, with selected students from Belgium, we discussed the subject of social entrepreneurship training. after returning by bus we had dinner at the hotel and finally, after a long day we went to bed!


DAY 3 - today we started the first day of school, we attended 3 classes and every hour we changed classroom. We were divided in groups and together with my partner we attended lessons on industrial subjects and geography. In the afternoon we started social entrepreneurship training.



Thursday, 7 November. today is the first day of school for us, first of all in the morning when we arrived at school our professors  divided us in groups and then we went to the various classes. Me and my group were initially in the physics class, then religion and finally history. After having lunch at the school canteen, we in groups with other Belgians students we discussed entrepreneurship, finally we left school at 16:30.


Day 3: we went to the Belgium school, the Institute Notre Dame and we did their same lessons in their same classes. In The afternoon we started a training on social entrepreneurship.

First day at school.  in the morning we were divided into groups of 3 people and we went every hour in different classes, at lunch we went to the school cafeteria and the food was not very good.  After the canteen we went to a room with other Belgian boys and we did group work.










Day 4 ...


Day 4 - today 8/11/2019 we woke up, had breakfast all together and we went to the theater where we saw a show and heard stories in French and Italian, and then we did a short tour of Philippeville. After that we had lunch at the school canteen. Here we are in the canteen where all the schools of the project gave their presentations. Then we all had dinner together and finally we played group games. We had to guess songs, the name of the bands, and the languages... it was good fun!!!


Day 4: we went to the centre culturel de Philippeville and we assisted to a cabaret show in both italian and French. The showman luigi raganese told us three stories about love, and while he was speaking, he also played three musical instruments: a guitar, the accordion and tambourine.




















Day 4. We had dinner in the canteen with all the Erasmus students and teachers. We introduced ourselves and talked about our school, then we shared our foods and had dinner together. It was a fun day.




Day 4 - Here we are all in the canteen before dinner! You can see the principal Monsieur Luc de Grande speaking to all the Erasmus students. The canteen was decorated with multi colour origami representing the 3 countries involved in the project: Belgium, Portugal and Italy.


Day 5 ...

Day 5 - Saturday, 9  November, today after having breakfast we left to visit Namur where we first visited the old city which was a fortress. Then we went down to the most recent part of the city to have lunch in a 4-star restaurant, after lunch we went for a tour around the city. We had a snack with some typical waffles and finally we we spared some time to go shopping.





Day 5 - today 9/11/2019 we woke up to go to visit Namur... as soon as we arrived, we split up in three groups and all the morning we visited an ancient building “la citadelle” where a group of 3000 soldiers resisted for 30 days fighting against 110000 soldiers. In the afternoon we did a tour and had a look around the shops in Namur, and finally we returned to chateau Laneffe.





Day 5: we visited the citadelle of Namur. Se saw a lot of monuments and historical buildings, and thanks to our tour guide, we learned a lot about the history of Namur.










Day 5 :The Cathedral of Namur is one of the best attractions to visit in Namur. It was built in 1772 and since then it is the principal place of the catholic religion in the Vallonian region. The cathedral was built in Baroque style and it is a beautiful place to see.


Today we visited Namur a city for tourists thanks to its beauty and the outskirts from which we had a beautiful view of the city and also of the historical monuments.
In the afternoon we went around the city center for shopping and also to taste the typical food of the city such as the delicious gaufres and fries.


Day 6 ...

On November 10, 2019, we went to the hydroelectric power station Lac de l'Eau d'heure, the guide showed us the functions of the turbines and the dam. During the afternoon we visited the nature park Eau d'heure.


Day 6 - Sunday 10 November. today we spend a fantastic day in the lacs de l’Eau d’heure. In the morning we visited the dam of d'Heure, and a natural park composed of many lakes where you can practice many water sports. The complex has also a dam to produce electricity with 4 turbines, after having lunch in the restaurant, we took a walk in the characteristic forests that had a path along the shore of one of the lakes. We took lots of pictures and we had a lot of fun.

Day 6 - here we are inside a tunnel 20m underground inside the Dam of Eau d’heure.

Day 6 - we visited les Lacs de l'eau d'heure that are both natural and artificial lakes and here there is also an amusement park.







Day 6 - On Sunday we went to the dam.
We saw the lakes and took a long walk on the tracks around the lake. It’s also a natural area and a water sports park. Indoors you can also play laser games.
Then in the evening we all had dinner together at the school to say goodbye to the Portuguese delegation.
